14 incredible people are taking on the the Kumano Kodo Trail in an effort to bring awareness and raise much needed donations for Jenny’s Place Women's Domestic Violence & Homelessness Support.
The Kumano Kodo ‘Nakahechi’ trail is one of Japan’s most challenging pilgrimage routes, with rugged terrain, steep climbs, and deep spiritual history. This trek over seven days leads through forests, rivers, and mountain passes to the sacred Kumano Hongu Taisha shrine. They'll pass through small villages and unwind in Yunomine Onsen’s healing waters. With daily hikes of 10-18 km, it’s a demanding journey for adventurers seeking challenge and cultural immersion.
Your support is vital for this hike. Every donation helps women and children escape domestic violence. Together, we can bring hope and healing. Thank you!
